African Party Vol. 2 – Various Artists,african 1969

Today’s LP truly deserves the name, African Party. Opening
with Docteur Nico and African Fiesta, what can go wrong.
Next, only treasures here, Johnny Bokelo, O.K. Jazz, and
Grand Kalle’s African Jazz. All beautiful. Tracks #s 6 and 8
could have used a little remastering but in 1969 they did
not have the same tools we have today I guess. Great comp.

  9. Great disc again! Moose, i am looking for a particular song called “Independence chacha” from Grand Kallé & African Jazz. End of june i will play a party for a Congolese group, and cos it will almost be 50 years of independency, i was looking for that song, to play it for them that day. Do you have it?
