Two of the greatest artists in highlife combined their forces
on this here album. Ghana’s ‘King of Highlife’, E.T. Mensah
and Nigeria’s ‘Evil Genius of Highlife’, Dr. Victor Olaiya both
have their impressive career and decided to make a record
together. It is from 1984 and contains 7 wonderful songs.
A must have for every lover of the genre, better get
it and spread it as usual, enjoy..
P.S. Also take a look at our very first post,

Thanks moos. I saw these two greats perform in Washington DC in the early 80s and they were unforgettable. Many many thanks for all you do.
Excellent stuff, Moos. Thanks very much. Though I’m personally more inclined to Ghana highlife, I’ll take what I can get, especially from stars like Olaiya and Mensah.
And just how did Olaiya get that nickname of his?
I have no idea Glinka, anybody ot there maybe ..?
“Why were you called the evil genius of highlife?
Victor Olaiya: They thought I moved highlife music out of the ordinary. Then, it was believed that my highlfe was a little bit out of this world, beyond explanation. This was why Alhaji Alade Odunewu of the Daily Times styled me the Evil Genius of Highlife.”
Mr. Judge is one of my favourite tunes..Thanks for posting this..
It’s amazing to go to see this site and reading the views of all friends about this article, while I am also keen of getting knowledge.
