Singer Josky Kiambukuta who worked with le grand maître
Franco for so long took a side step with Rigo Star making
this album. I love to see the records in the store they took
the frontcovers picture, Tchico, Theo Blaise, Pamelo Moun’ka,
Pierre Moutouari, Franco, Rochereau, all the 80’s albums
we like so much. ( click on image ) Rigo Star is responsible
for the guitarsound and they both took care of
the vocal parts, hope u like..

Thanks, Moos. Josky’s in Paris these days, but where is Rigo Star? And is he still performing?
The record Shop on the picture was the musicanova situated during the 80’s and 90’s in gallerie d’ Ixelles,Brussels . The reference worldwide for Congolese music those days. I used to go there a lot as I was missing the Congolese ‘ambiance’.It was a heaven for lovers of African music. You could also find other types of hard to find African and South American music. Fortunately there are still good music shops in Matonge today which are worth visiting
Oh, the sweetness. Thanks for sharing this album. Rigo Star rocks. Apurva from Pune, India.
This is very nice, thank you.
