It is about two and a half years ago we discovered Uncle
Toye Ajagun. Around then I posted the 1978 album ‘Gbedu
Beats’ by his hand. I’m very happy to be able to bring his 1975
released ‘The Sound of Olumo Rock, vol.1’ today. Uncle Toye is a
welcome addition to the list of known juju artists.

Zo’n twee en een half jaar geleden ontdekte ik Uncle Toye
Ajagun. Het album ‘Gbedu Beats’ uit 1978 heb ik toen met
enthousiasme geplaatst. Met gepaste blijdschap breng ik
vandaag dit plaatje uit 1975, ‘The Sound of Olumo Rock, vol.1′.
Uncle Toye is een welkome aanvulling op het rijtje reeds bekendere
